NoOneAtTheYourDoor_mixdownV5.mp3

Hey guys! And Gals! After being in the studio for most of the month trying to put on a live show with limited resources we are back to the starting point! And clearly screaming out of the gate with a few really fun songs!

This is the first of a few we are working on. This is a rough draft of a new song called: No one at Your Door. The badman has not yet gotten all of his words on the song, mostly due to my broken vocal cords the past few days. But I think the structure is pretty much complete. There may be slight changes later, but what Ehk'olite/Following Satellites song have I not changed slightly (or over eagerly) from the original.

We are still trying to find a good way to get HTML5 players made up. I know those on iPhones are having a few issues with our flash based players so we are working on it. Additionally we are working with the FollowingSatellites.com site.

The element of clean is what we are working for and I think we established that. However with a brand new unpackaged version of Dreamweaver from my archives that I thought lost; We can have HTML functionality in a WYSIWYG format again.

Here are the lyrics:

Delicate and complicated
this system of intricate parts
wired together and winding
down the steps into the traffic
the sidewalk glistens with the sweat on the

brows
nodding heads
systematically digest the wreckage

In nightmares
and in homes
across the circuitry
these games played on the
faces of children
like the words across a book
these lives run parallel to each other
distorted as the eyes shift perception

There's no one at your door tonight
You sit awash in the vaporous light in the

shadows
Unconsumed by the system of satisfaction
Just another town
just another boat on the horizon

Simplistic once again

destructive and soothing
energy spent to gather the memories

human in its finest suit
today is not the day they wished
by the hands of the living
these days no one wishes

so desired
So feared
Can you please excuse the paper doll clothing
like a drag queen facing the sun
Held in gods arms
burying the hatchet with 80 proof cylinders

The shine on your face could use a dash of

powder

Seemingly so proud
Ill never be in your shoes
To see the world as you do
characteristic of you to show such passion

In suffering
we learn that the real pace cannot be measured

by our own hands
Time scatters sands to the screaming air
Lost and unraveling in the skylines
Confusing the short sighted
Envisioning the plots revered
ever softly found in the eyes of these lives

Captivated by this lecture
My life for hers
You whittle away at my tension
Dreaming so lost in this turmoil

You do not know the collapse
A vacuum of condensing pain
no understanding for a life lost
only my selfish confusion

Is this the defeat I am poised for
How can you bleed me to make up for her

Ive pushed the envelope some more

Tensing at the sound of her name
as such a man could fail this way
I claim the wreckage as mine

Ill take it all with me
Or Ill give it to you

toTheSun_mixdown.mp3

To the Sun has a bit of a charm to it. A delay and reverb.

ancilary_mixdown.mp3

Ok now on to the music that are song like. This is something I put together a while ago, I do not remember much about it, but I have it all saved up in the noggin.

Finger picking and oddness. I like it a lot.

DaveRingtone_mixdown.mp3

Even though he never calls me and doesn't even know my new phone number yet, I made Dave a ringtone. Hello passive aggressive demand for more Dave time. This song is finger picking with an underlayer of more finger picking.

CrystalRingtone_mixdown.mp3

This is the start of my ringtones I made for these people. First one is for Crystal when she calls.

All of these are songs I wrote just tonight while thinking about what these people sound like to me. They all have a little nuance to them.

cowboys_mixdown.mp3

I wrote this tonight and I like it a lot. I want to form it into a larger song so this is going on the 'Maybe' pile.

freight_mixdown.mp3

This song has two guitar parts with delay and reverb.

Lyrics:

Life, and its worth are at odds with something creating life.
Illusions can bring you to the end of your rope
I want to suffer by your side
Can we qualify the ends with our excuses

Oh to lose you
Ill never know the reasons
Ooh to guess at your ends
We are left with the bags at your expense

Grow with the tides of unfirling flags
Can we pass the torch again?

The train you were waiting for left the taste of loss in the mouth of the caring.
The hearts of many left with you on that bullet
and the growth we could have had with the understanding of pain

Oh to lose you
Ill never know the reasons
Ooh to guess at your ends
We are left with the bags at your expense

Can we continue on with the memories
locked away in your parts scattered amongst the gravel?

Keep your hands close to your eyes
The spray of this visteral identity you wish us to see?
This vapor left in the lungs of the people you left.
Can the world continue on, the poorest of the world never see
the very moment you are a ghost I can greet you in dreams

Play with the water of life and play with the limits of our feelings
I could care less, I am not one of the feeling
We leave you in peace as you did not do this for us
and even if you did, we did not notice
We are all selfish and care more about our loss
than the feelings of pain because you can never see
the future we have for you

Ooooooooh to lose you in this landscape
ooooooooh to find you in our nightmares
you have become a nuenses and
we will never forgive you like you want
You could care less and
So could I

Oooooh to find you in pieces
Left for me to pick up your family
I will be part of your delusion and I will
join your party
Left to the flies
Ill never need a stitch

ooooooooh the proof is in your position.
Good evening
We have to end this show.

nightofgain_mixdown2.mp3

I quickly wrote this up with a fragment of a song I played with tonight while practicing different things on the guitar. I enjoyed making it a lot. It has a bilevel effect package on it. With a pleaza amp and delay of 800ms and a reverb. Enjoy!

I think there is a glitch in it but I was unaware while I was working the music. So if there is I apologize, but it has gotten quite late to correct it. I think it still sounds fun!

Harbringer2x_mixdown.mp3

This is a 'to be polished' song. Enjoy it's current stage. You have heard the beat before.

pilot1x_mixdown.mp3

More Music! This is just a loop guitar I made. You can listen to the full 4 minutes of it, but it sort of (from last listening of pieces) seems to be the same things over and over. Leaving room for vocals and a beat later so we can tighten it up.

GhostTrackedFinalSecondDraft_mixdown.mp3

We have been busy at work polishing up the one song Ghost. We are not done it just yet, but I will post here a bit of what it sounds like now. And by a bit I will place most of the song... ie. all of it. We are coming close to finishing it. The mastering and the completion will occur this weekend. Enjoy this one, we currently do!

Ghosts Test_mixdown.mp3

Bang up job. I am very pleased with the way this came out. The BadmanJ pulled together the lyrics and I think your souls will be pleasantly soothed and melted... nicely melted. Into a puddle.

HomeIsHere_mixdown.mp3

I was sort of playing around on this one. I tried out a bunch of the techniques I have been using for the past few months and tried to get them all into one song. I am unsure if it is far too busy, but overall it was a fun test. I am posting it to see how you feel about it. Plus not everything has to be perfect, just exciting and this piece was exciting to play. No idea how I made it. It was a long time ago today. Haha.

results2x_mixdown.mp3

This song has lyrics that go along with it. I attempted to record them 24 times with varying success. So I did not post them with the song. Instead I just give you the music part. It has heavy reverb, finger picking that begins at 2:18, and three layers. One lead guitar, one rhythm guitar and one acoustic guitar. Please enjoy it. Seriously. It is about 65 or 130 bpm.

fingerpickingRockSong1x_mixdown.mp3

This song is 140bpm, and is a song I quite enjoyed making because it was a new twist on something I like to do. It is two layers, and I used a very light distortion for the second guitar part. I used the Line 6 Spinal amp with a very low drive and a light reverb. I recorded lyrics but I forgot the tune my vocal chords before I used them so they are just a half step detuned on every note. I decided to extract them from the music for now. No beat for this now, but I hope to get one soon.

pajamaForestthemesong_mixdown (2).mp3

I was writing a theme song for the comic Pajama Forest, I have lyrics for it, I will put them on there in time when I have more of it. Maybe tomorrow. Probably tomorrow.
This is very bassy. I am not sure how that happened, but there you have it. Enjoy!
