GiftingAwayMyNature_mixdown.mp3

Acoustic Amp, Analog Mod Delay, Spinal puppet amp, cavernous reverb

Lyrics:

in this world
we can only dissolve into
what is available
at times we go sideways
from what was understood
to be our own decay
rotting into something different
not always better

but you dissolve into endearment
your illusions of failure
bring out the nature of depth
I see in you what I am hoping
always to be a part
playing a role in something I can feel
strongly about
in a way that comforts
and threshes my own delusions of abandonment

in these times we catch a glimpse
of our dissolving nature
im paranoid about handing you
anything
let alone the parts of me that change
ever aware
but lost in what
I hope is truth

never give any of the time needed

Playing a role once again
in this madness
designed by my own hand
hoping this is truth
seeing only what I want

Isnt this delicious
what we are turning into
a mess of fruit
a pool of wonderment
perhaps the primordal stew
Bringing back the life in the
solution
I do not fear the end is near
only what we might miss is the beginning

for the beginning
can only bring the end

Exciting isnt it
to know that you are part of a churning wheel
blending in the waves of lifes ever changing
ever growing pool washing away our focus

Testing out the everlasting in a way
that never satisfies the craving for touch
The lacking proof, but the feeling in our hearts
does not dissolve the hope
but the just feel the wrath
and the weak feel the switch

You my friend feel the time
weighing down and bringing you close

close to the moment of clarity
we might fear the beginning
but I fear the truth
to know this is the passion driving you
to face a mirror that shows the past
as a cloth to drape around you

We might as well fall to our knees now
and hope the becoming darkness
is filled with a light
trembling with all the rage of the world
working together like the threads on the weave

but taking us in with a soft hand of iron
to strip away the sin
ill gift away my nature
only then
when it is struck from me
down by You
down by You

500ms delay, tredplate, medium hall reverb.

As requested, I am heading in to the archives and adding lyrics to every song with lyrics written by my hand to add cheer to people who were interested in reading words with the music.

always in the aftermath
the enlightenment is so ready to jump out
and display its brilliance
We're not ready for that
Too powerful are we in the grips of pain
what is the point if the message
is to be patient for the next time

Red like a book
spine first and hooked to clock work
behind the panels
in this ghoulish background
you're nothing if not
a voice to me

Evidence you are a being

I have seen none

this aftermath leaves me with no one to breathe my

air
no one to garner grandchildren

all this time,
all this work

I know nothing of your pain
only my own

Ill listen if this is what I need to do
but to take away what I have been like you to create
will be the last line holding my blade
Ill bring it swiftly down like a nova

I end with you
and ill be away from you forever

I choose my own pain over yours
forever

I'm on fire
but I am under armed for this war

the most damaging thing I can do to you
is take me away from your arms
Ill take my soul to hell
to keep me from you.

The remedy! New white cells.

I welcomed to the world today a new band mate: a wonderful new white guitar!
Now I can make more music! So I put together a song called On Fire But Under.

I wanted to remind everyone that this is a sketch book of music. On the back burner we have a good thing a-growin. When it is ready you will be first to be aware! I have a lot of programming to do, and a lot of re-recording to do. But I am excited enough to be excited but not stop working on it due to excitement.

All the songs you are hearing (As a near milestone: we have posted nearly 200 songs just this year! And every day this month we have posted a near full song a day.) here are just demonstrations of the work we are doing. The team as we are is breaking into creating some things that are just good fun. We have new equipment and we have new ambitions. This month of songs is just a good water mark of what we are capable of creating within set limits, and so far it has been in a lot of peoples opinions a bit of success, albeit still fledgling. The work put into songs for the output are pretty much a full on 100% gain in efficiency. A full lyrical set, and a full guitar set, and a full drum set, and coming soon full bass set. I would say we have a lot of work. I'm not kidding! A LOT of work to pull together something that will really make the rounds on people's mp3 players with any regularity. But I am confident that we are up to the challenge. I'm running at full speed again after a small break and I will hopefully be bringing this type of energy to the project for years to come.

The guys seem ready to run too, so keep checking back for updates and I will get out 30 songs this month to satisfy my longing to prodigiously generate song ideas. Next month: we get down to business. The first thing on the block is a list of our "top rated" songs with links to the music, then we are taking a poll for your favorites out of the ones we have chosen. Then comes the hard work, but the most rewarding. We will be rewriting lyrics, perhaps adding completely different lyrics, or just rewording things that have not been sitting with us. Polishing up the guitar and drums. Adding live mixes into the fray. Better recordings of words (read: air conditioner off, and use of condenser mic), tighter note control, and quicker changes. Also maybe some YouTube videos of the bunch of us putting together music.

Once we have everything rolled out, I have a secret project that is really (if I finish it) going to a visual experience. I would not expect that for about three months or more.

Again these are grand plans, but the real work has just begun and I am not going to count my chickens before I finish this month. But who ever wants to start running with me, start your engines... this is going to be a hell of a ride!

My apologies...

Hey there loyal following. I have terrible news. I, no longer, can make music. I'm sorry if this is upsetting to you, but things have become unusable and broken. So until things become fixed, I cannot make anything new. The BadmanJ might do somethings, but he tends to be busy.

I'm sorry I could not get a full month of tunes to you with lyrics in each day. Rest assured I have at least five in the hopper, but like I said, they are unable to be created.

Ehk'olite out...

I'm sorry, I am sick, but it is a good sickness. But I still wanted to get this out to you. I made two songs tonight, but the first one was soooooo terrible, I made a new one and here you are.

Enjoy!

Here you go! Some of the practice and play work from the last weekend with the boys. Effectively due to situations out side our control, we were not able to jam in New York but instead had a small Point Rock Jam down here. This is done with a mic set up in the middle of the room pointed mildly off to the right of the PA speaker and towards the guitar amp. The drums are to the hard right of the mic. Windscreen was on.

You can hear me talking and giving directions as we really only jammed this together all the way through on this take.

Welcome to the band everyone! This was brand new work played with four people that have only been playing together for two days. The bridge is a little rough because we did not have one even thought of before starting the piece up this time.

Enjoy the rough draft! The lyrics are totally ray gun melt you down. So if you are a girl watch out. I'm wearing a tie and vest.

The BadmanJ broke this week, so I stepped in and fixed up this song with some lyrics. I love this beat. When the BadmanJ throws down it will turn this song into gold. But in the mean time, this will melt your face!

Go Ellinor!

My voice is under Reverb supervision. I added it to this version instead of giving you only the vocal version I decided to give you both a vocal and non vocal in case you liked the song but not the vocal quality I can give out at a moments notice.

Hey guys, This is one song a day July! We hope to keep up with posting a single new song a day for the whole month of July. Perhaps it will be two with one being a polishing version of a song we have worked on before. But for the most part, we will be creating one song a day with lyrics and music. Just to practice. Some will be hip hop, others will be rock, and prog rock. But this month's goal is to go all out on the creation front to see what we can do with our time! Enjoy!
